Clinic is one of the first in the nation to use new, more advanced applicator
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (October 17, 2016) – CoolSculpting is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses a controlled cooling temperature applicator to effectively target and remove fat by altering it. CoolAdvantage is the next generation in applicators in CoolSculpting systems. It delivers colder temperatures to provide a larger cooling area, greater patient comfort and shorter treatment time.
“The CoolAdvantage applicator is a leap forward in CoolSculpting procedures,” said Dr. Brian Zelickson. “We’re one of the first five facilities responsible for CoolSculpting clinical trials and among the first providers of this non-invasive treatment in the country.”
Mayo Clinic-trained Dr. Brian Zelickson, one of the most recognized and respected dermatologists worldwide, leads the Plymouth clinic. He has extensive research experience, including 15 medical patents and more than 70 medical journal publications.
As part of the introduction of this new technology, Zel Skin is holding a “CoolEvent” on November 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Plymouth clinic at 2 Carlson Parkway, just off of Highway 394. The event will showcase CoolSculpting, and include a live patient demonstration using the new CoolAdvantage applicator.
The CoolSculpting procedure is FDA-cleared. It is available for the non-invasive treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental area, thigh, abdomen, and flank. The CoolSculpting treatment is available at Zel Skin’s Plymouth and Edina clinics.
