Underarm Sweating miraDry® Treatment

What to Expect During a miraDry® Treatment
Your doctor will instruct you to shave your underarms 2-3 days before the treatment. During the procedure, the practitioner will apply a local anesthetic. While not outright painful, miraDry appointments have been described as “uncomfortable” by prior patients, so we do what we can to keep you as relaxed as possible. The treatment takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Swelling is common for around one week following the treatment, and we recommend icing the treated area for the first couple of days. The treatment consists of two procedures spaced three months apart to maximize the results. After those two procedures, the long-lasting effects ensure you will not need another.
