Background

Dr. Mary Meighan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a BA in Chemistry. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Medical School, completed her internship in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Conn., a residency program in internal medicine, followed by a residency program in dermatology at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is board certified in both internal medicine and dermatology.

Dr. Meighan has worked in the Twin Cities since 1991 practicing medical dermatology in a variety of settings, including an academic teaching clinic, multi-specialty clinic and private practice. She received the Outstanding Teacher Award, Department of Dermatology, University of Minnesota, and has been listed in past issues of Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine Top Doctors and Minneapolis Magazine Top Doctors for Women.

Dr. Meighan has a special interest in skin cancer (basal cell cancer, squamous cell cancer and melanoma) and prevention, inflammatory diseases (psoriasis and eczema) and due to her training in internal medicine, diagnosing and treating the cutaneous manifestations of collagen vascular diseases.
